A simple walk, serving the purpose with which I began this project in the first place: it got me out of the house, and out of the solitary spin I can hit when I spend too much time in my head. It was the first day in a very long time that I had to myself, with no commitments other than to take this walk. After a day of intermittently catching up on boring tasks and sinking into the comfort of getting to just be still, out the door I went, determined to get some air and some movement, to look in the corners and see what I could find.
As often happens, Portland made me smile.
